Dedicated to all players of RPGs and SFRPGs in Bristol, UK and the surrounding areas
This website was born in October 2010. It is here, continually assembling information about the role-playing gaming scene in Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. These are RPGs as in 'table-top' games, rather than computer games. I also include information about board games, wargames and LARP, so please update me on these also.
There's plenty going on. It's not hard to get into a game if you know where to go. If you are new to the scene, this site should help you meet people and join or start a game. If you aren't new, the site should be a portal for local area gaming (if not it may be because you haven't contributed.) Over time, the site should develop to connect roleplaying individuals and communities in and around Bristol, generate ideas for games and bring games and players together.
If you are an experienced gamer or gaming group in Bristol and don't mind people knowing about it, please would you see that you or your group are represented on this site. Also links to this site and reciprocal links are positively invited. Thank you.

Upcoming Events
BristolGames Haven. ie the Monday group, inter-game get together from around 6:30 in Horts, see Weekly events page. Check beforehand (eg the Yahoo group or with me) beforehand to confirm. Several games are coming to an end around this time, and GMs are making plans for new games. This evening will be an evening to meet and discuss, so come along from anywhere to say hello.

BristolGames Haven, Yahoo group:
This is the forum site for the group that meet at Horts on Mondays, to which everyone is invited. It discusses games to be played and other RPG stuff.

Game-Hosting Venues
Cut and Thrust is a new gaming venue and wargaming shop causing a lot of excitement in Bristol. Everyone talks about it being new and shiny and planning to run games there. They will host any RPG, SFRPG, CCG, Tabletop Wargame, or Board Game.
Open Tuesday to Saturday with late nights twice a week.
Play by Post is a website created by a Bristol roleplayer that allows you the arena to DM a full campaign online alongside likeminded people, while giving you the space on the front page to show off your adventures.
